Universities usually offer these subjects as a bachelor's followed by a master's. Universities of applied sciences tend to offer more applied programmes, such as biotechnology or business mathematics. Many institutions run a maths preparation course before the first semester.
Pharmacy ends with a state examination (Staatsexamen), and places are allocated nationally through hochschulstart.de. For the other subjects you apply to the institution directly, or simply enrol if there is no admission restriction. Of the programmes here where this is known, 70% have open admission.
